Welcome to St. John’s United! St. John’s Lutheran Ministries is one of the region’s most well-known and trusted providers of senior living and healthcare. St. John’s has a long and faithful history of CC2providing the best care and quality that combines comfort, convenience, and value. For 54 years, St. John’s Lutheran Ministries has served our community and lived our mission of providing living opportunities within nurturing environments of hope, dignity and love each and every day. The ministries have grown to meet the changing needs of our community and are driven by love in Christ for those who most need to be lifted high. Over 600 residents call St. John’s home and enter the continuum of care at different levels. St. John’s provides an array of services primarily to the elderly, including Independent and Assisted living, full-skilled nursing-home care, Home Health Care and Transitional Care with a state-of-the-art rehab center. While the primary focus is to care for the elderly, St. John's also operated one of the largest licensed daycare facilities in Yellowstone County and runs Lutheran Social Services, a statewide adoption agency. In our independent living facilities, residents live life at their own pace in one or two-bedroom apartments, located at Chapel Court and Mission Ridge on St. John’s campus. The Crossings in Laurel, and the Wyndstone, currently under development in the Billings heights area, are also independent living options. Opportunities for travel, education, and cultural events abound. When needed, medical help is always available, and residents have priority access to St. John’s assisted living and skilled nursing care housing as part of our continuum of care. Independent Living at The Crossings is far more than someone’s house. It is all that and then some. The biggest struggle for many is leaving the home they have known for many years to move to an apartment community like The Crossings. Those memories are very real and are definitely worth treasuring. The Crossings will bring new memories not burdened by the duties of home ownership.
