Carriage House means “family” in unmistakable ways. Our dedicated and compassionate staff aim to ensure that your family is always treated with the same love and care as our own families are. With a certified capacity of just 26 residents, we offer individualized care plans that promote maximum independence. At the Carriage House, we seek to continue residents’ lifestyles by replicating the little things that make a home – everything from biscuits and gravy for breakfast to walks with neighbors and playing pool with friends. Residents at the Carriage House make their apartments particularly their own, with private baths and accessible kitchens. Carriage House residents are offered several amenities including: laundry housekeeping meal preparation transportation wellness checks daily activities and much more! The Carriage House was opened in 2000 and provides a combination of housing, personal services and health care assistance to the residents of Kiowa County and Western Kansas. We work closely with the newly built Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, less than a mile away, for services such as rehabilitation and special medical care. We gladly accept and work with several insurance companies and medical programs including Medicare, Medicaid, VA Benefits, and more.
