It comes with a good reputation for health care. Crestview was 6 years old when it was purchased in 1970 by MRC (Methodist Retirement Communities), a system of not-for-profit corporations headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas. MRC continues to own and operate Arbor Oaks and Crestview, together with the 3 other properties in Bryan for limited income seniors. Crestview Terrace, Crestview Place and Unity. MRC serves about 2,000 residents in 11 (and growing) senior living communities, including Bryan, College Station, Huntsville, La Porte, League City, Lufkin and Texarkana. While MRC still maintains a valuable covenant affiliation with the Texas Annual Conference of United Methodists, the Conference has no legal or financial responsibility for MRC. We serve seniors regardless of nationality, race, gender, disability or religion. And while we’re proud of our Methodist heritage, you don’t need to be United Methodist or Christian or religious in any way to be warmly welcomed to come and let us serve you. restview is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with MRC as its sole member, so all leftover margin can be reinvested in improvements and rate increases kept to a minimum. Nonprofit status requires a high level of accountability, which means higher standards for activities, care, housing, programming and services. In short, as a staff, we’re committed to maintaining Crestview as the best senior living community in the Bryan-College Station area.
