Our residents have formed an Ambassador Club, which serves as the “Welcome Wagon” at Briarview. They greet and get to know new residents and families, then Club members do their best to introduce them to residents that might have something in common with newcomers. There is also a Men’s Club at Briarview. Male residents and the Executive Director get together periodically for outings to see a current movie, eat together in a popular restaurant, or to enjoy a baseball game—whatever the guys want to do. Because we are a pet-friendly community, Independent Living and Assisted Living residents can bring their furry friend with them to live at Briarview. And it’s easy for our Memory Care residents to take advantage of the pet therapy programs we offer. Should circumstances require it, residents can benefit from a true continuum of care, while transitioning from Independent Living and Assisted Living to Memory Care at Briarview.
